Dear American Legion Family Members,

Spring is finally here!  With the thaw comes one of the busiest times of the year for our Post.  Be sure to check in at your Post home often to stay informed about upcoming events.

Here are a few topic of interest that you should know:

·        The new Legion Directory is completed, thanks to the hard work of the directory committee.  I think you’ll be please with the final result of their efforts.

·        The Sarge is working the Color Guard pretty hard in preparation for Memorial Day and the Rose Parade.  Be sure to attend these annual events.

·        Poppy Day is right around the corner.  Buy your poppies early and often.  If you want to help collect for this worthy cause, call the Post and leave your name and number.  Toni Ballentine will be happy to find a corner for you to work!

·        In light of the recent upgrades to the Post, we are now a very desirable location for companies and organizations to hold meetings.  As the old saying goes, "You can spend more, but you won't get more."  Call our bar manager, Bill Dombrowski, about pricing and availability for your next event.

·        Keep in mind that the Roselle American Legion Charitable Foundation (RALCF) still has a significant tax credit that we are willing to sell, at a discount, to a qualified class “C” corporation. Get the word out.
